OASIS Educational Foundation is a vital organization that exists to organize a positive, enriching environment contributing to an improved quality of life for our African American youth and young adults. OASIS Educational Foundation is the scholarship arm of MASTERs Plus Tutoring Program, a team of certified tutors and education professionals providing customized, 1-on-1 learning assistance to K-12 students throughout the community.
OASIS Educational Foundation is dedicated to closing the achievement gap between economically disadvantaged African-American children and their peers through free subject tutoring and test preparation services. We believe that all children, regardless of socio-economic status, have a right to quality education and the potential to succeed through academic opportunities.

Once your student’s Assessment has been evaluated by our staff, you’ll meet with Executive Director Zena Smith to discuss your child’s academic strengths and challenges, review our outline for a successful individualized program, set appropriate goals and begin the enrollment process – at any time of year.
OASIS Educational Foundation will provide ACT/SAT preparation, subject/homework tutoring, reading comprehension, college essay writing assistance services, and robotics and coding for youth and young adults in need of immediate intervention. We believe all children, regardless of socio-economic status, have a right to quality education with best-in-class instruction. OASIS Educational Foundation exists to fill the gaps and meet the needs of disadvantaged children, their families, and the communities we serve.
The goal of OASIS Educational Foundation is to positively change the life trajectory of those at risk, economically and socially, through superior education, creating life-long learners and lovers of knowledge. The Achievement Gap
is a term for the difference in year-to-year academic performance between students of different ethnic groups or income levels. In the United States, minority students and poor students of all backgrounds fall further behind their wealthier peers each year.
